Construction of first full-scale replica.

The Museum has chosen this unique sled as its first replica project because of its upcoming 50th anniversary. The estimated cost of construction is in the neighborhood of $35,000.00. The engine, a 300 h.p. Lycoming 9 cylinder radial in running but tired condition has been located and purchased along with exhaust and tube mount. The Museum is counting on a successful pre-sale income to complete the windsled for the upcoming celebration this April. If you would like to help, you can order your pre-sale copy of "On Thin Ice" by clicking How To Order and using the order blank provided. And remember, the one time golden autographed copy is only available to pre-sale customers.
Thank you and enjoy the photos.
